Born in Waco and a 1996 graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station, Matt is a lifelong Texan. He grew up in Wharton and the Sugar Land area southwest of Houston, and since has lived all over the state from Dallas to Cuero, Texas where he now resides with his wife Amy, son Connor, and daughter Madison. Matt has spent much of his professional career working in the oil and gas industry, having spent the past fifteen years as a petroleum landman specializing in lease negotiation and determining ownership of complex mineral estates. He would now like to apply his vast knowledge of land to the Real Estate business with a focus on helping others achieve maximum value and satisfaction when buying or selling their farm and ranch properties. Matt is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen, The Sons of the Republic of Texas, The Texas Association of Realtors (TAR), and the Victoria Area Association of Realtors (VAAR). Additionally, He was recently certified as a Texas Water Rights Specialist™ (TWRS™). Matt enjoys hunting and fishing, singing, writing songs, picking a guitar, traveling and making memories with family and friends.
